At Bainbridge Island Adventurers Guild, we believe every child deserves a place where they belong. Through collaborative storytelling and tabletop roleplaying games, we help kids build confidence, creativity, problem-solving skills, and lasting friendships. Each adventure is designed to be welcoming and inclusive, inspire imagination and play, foster connection, and empower every child to become a hero.

Hi! My name is Kyle and I love creativity, imagination, and stories.
When my wife and I moved from LA where I had been working as a screenwriter and digital marketer for an entertainment advertising company, D&D became a way for me to meet friends and give myself a creative outlet. As a Dad of two young kids, this grew to be something I valued greatly, and soon became a Game Master (aka Dungeon Master).
As cheesy as it sounds, D&D really is more than just a game. It’s a brilliant way to de-stress, connect with others, and give your mind a break while you slip away into imaginary lands.
As my daughter got older, her friends starting getting an interest in the world of D&D and Bainbridge Island Adventurers Guild was born.
Kids' imaginations and the creativity they bring to the game constantly amazes me. As a Game Master, it keeps me on my toes because while adults generally stick to what they think the planned story is, kids will come up with ideas that I had never envisioned. When the choice is to turn left or right, they go up. How fun is that?

Hi, I’m Emma Van Dyke and I have so much fun playing D&D!
As an experienced Game Master who has run games for both children and adults, I create individualized, story-driven adventures that encourage roleplaying and player interaction.
Whether players are brand-new (and a little nervous!) or experienced adventurers ready for a challenging homebrew, I design unforgettable games where everyone has a chance to shine. My background as a teacher, child caregiver, and writing tutor, helps me foster confidence, creativity, and teamwork within each group.
With an MFA in Creative Writing and years of storytelling experience in fiction, poetry, performance, music, and visual art, I love crafting imaginative, playful, and personalized campaigns all while helping players develop bold characters and devise clever strategies.
As a visual artist, I also bring custom character portraits, hand-drawn maps and other artwork into my adventures giving each campaign its own unique flavor.
As your GM, I’ll bring the story and the challenges: you bring the dice and the chaos.
